Two Nyasa Big Bullets players, Muhammad Sulumba and John Lanjesi have left the country on Monday to undergo trials in South Africa.
However, the Technical Director Billy Tewesa said that he is just hearing the news but there was no official communication, and he regretted having them left as many players sustained injuries in team.
“If I was informed I couldn’t have let them go since we already have several of our players injured. And Sankhani has just recovered and we were hoping he will ease some of the problems we have in our defence,” Tewesa said in an interview with a local radio on Monday night.
The team might have also missed the services of goalkeeper Owen Chaima and defender Sankhani Mkandawire who have left for Tanzania where they will be assessed at Mbeya FC a team coached by Malawian coach Kinnah Phiri.
