FAM TO COME UP WITH FLAMES UNDER 17 FOR COSAFA – Zampirampira.com – Football, Netball, Basketball, Hockey,Tennis and sports in Malawi

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has released the Technical panel for the Malawi -17 National Team where the Blue Eagles Coach Derklerk Msakakuona is head coach.

The Junior Flames are going to start preparations this coming Sunday at the Mpira Village in Blantyre for the COSAFA Youth Championship which is set on22nd to 31st July 2016 in Port Louis in Mauritius.

In this appointed panel, the role of assistant Coach is given to Tione Nhone (CAF A) whereby Mike Banda of Kamuzu Academy is the Team Manager while Heathwin Nkumbaleza will be the goalkeeper trainer.

In the meantime, FAM is calling all talented U- 17 players to attend trials which will be conducted this week in all the regions to identify players for the camp. All players eligible to participate in the trials must be born on or after 1st January 2000.

The players will undergo intensive age screening before the trials and they are requested to bring personal identifications like passports, birth certificates and a school ID which must be accompanied with a letter from their school signed by the head teacher.

The trials will be held on Wednesday 6th July 2016 and Thursday 7th July 2016 as follows:
Blantyre: Mpira Stadium

Zomba: Zomba Community Centre Ground
Lilongwe: Nankhaka Stadium

Mzuzu: Mzuzu Stadium
