Malawi Under-21 National Netball Team who started well at the Netball Youth World Cup in Botswana with two consecutive wins, they are now nursing several defeats as South Africa punished the Junior Queens 55-32 on Thursday.
This shows that Malawi has been defeated twice in run as it lost to Zimbabwe 52-23 on Wednesday.
South Africa only strangled the first quarter that registered only minimal difference while the rest quarters they managed to win them easily.
Malawi’s mission to qualify for next year’s Netball World Youth Cup is slowly fading as the likes of South Africa, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Uganda have been billed as strong candidates to reach the last-four.
Only best four teams from the continental event will qualify for the world finals to also be held in Botswana.
The Junior Queens have tricky assignments against Uganda this morning and Botswana this evening.
Malawi will complete their group assignments against Zambia on Sunday.
