The defending champions, Tigresses have started with a bounce by defeating Gerald Tasaukadala Sisters 108-7 in Rainbow Paints Southern Region Netball League at Blantyre Youth Centre on Saturday.
Tigresses took led in all quarters, 26-1, 51-4 and 82-5 respectively which made their coach Chawinga Kaluwa appear to be very happy and said that scoring more baskets was part of their game-plan.
“I am delighted with the players. They followed instructions and this is the spirit which we need. I strongly believe that we will defend the championship,” she said.
While Gerald Tasaukadala Team Manager, Hilda Makondetsa has accepted the defeat and she promised to bounce back.
