Newly Nyasa Bullets Chairman Noel Lipipa has promised players to pay them their signing on fees amounting to K42 million on Tuesday next week.
Speaking in an interview at Kamuzu Stadium soon after his side’s 1-nil victory over Azam Tigers in the Carlsberg Cup on Thursday, Lipipa said that the players will be paid their shares on Tuesday during a press briefing at Ryalls Hotel in Blantyre.
“We have sourced the money to pay the boys their signing on fees next Tuesday in Blantyre. At first, we only managed to raise half of the amount but God has done it again, K42 million is ready to be given to the boys,” he said.
Ex Bullets Chairman Sam Chilunga was fired because of his incompetence in running the affairs of the team despite securing the multi-million sponsorship deal with Nyasa Manufacturing Company in December last year.
