Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has disclosed that Burundian Nswazirimo Ramadhan is likely to become a national football team coach as to replace former coach Ernest Mtawali.
According to FAM general secretary Suzgo Nyirenda said that the body’s technical committee would meet on Saturday to assess his performance.
“The technical subcommittee would meet on Saturday to see who will be recruited as national team coach.
“But having won they have an advantage for him to be recommended for the position. But I can’t say that he has the job,” Nyirenda.
FAM seems to be contented with the way Ramadhan has managed a 1-0 win over Swaziland on Sunday, only a Flames’game during his time as Caretaker coach.
