First half controversial goal from Malawian deadly midfielder, Robert Ng’ambi, was enough for Platinum Stars to drew one all against Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday evening in Absa Premiership.
Ng’ambi scored on 21st minute into the first half in what is being described as controversial goal as his 22- yard shot struck the underside of the crossbar before bouncing on the goalline and went away from the goal.
According to television replays that have gone viral on social media platforms of South Africa ,show that former MDC United star’s shot did not cross the goalline though the referee gave it anyway.
Chiefs equalised late in the second half of the game to force the match to end 1-1 for the teams to share spoils.
Ng’ambi has been linked with a move to big teams such as Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns due to his all time outstanding performance.
The Midfield hub for Dikwena boys recently helped Malawi national football team to win 1-0 against Swaziland in Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
