Mighty Be Forward Wanderers are likely to be charged with pitch invasion after their supporters invaded the pitch as the final whistle told them that their side were champions of 2016 Carlsberg cup which is contrary to the competition’s rules and regulations.
The Nomads won the cup against Silver Strikers on Saturday through post match penalties at Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre.
Soon after Wanderers goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa saved last shot from silver’s side that kicked by Mathews Sibale which paved Nomads fans jumped the perimeter face, leaving part of it dismantled.
Many fans ran onto the football ground to celebrate the victory.
Meanwhile, nomads is likely to be fined following the pitch invasions.
