The Mzuni FC officials have failed to bow down to the demands of some supporters that Dr Felix Bello should resign as he will continue to lead the club for the rest of the season.
According to the source, the supporters and some players for Mzuni FC are not satisfied with Bello’s performance as chair, as he is not taking clubs matters.
The supporters were therefore asking for an immediate removal of Bello to be replaced by someone else.
But after the club’s meeting last Tuesday, the club’s General Secretary, Dr Khumbo Kumwenda, he said the club did not actually meet to discuss Dr Bello’s performance but to plan for the next round of the season.
“The issue you are referring to came up in the meeting but there was no progress because it came just as a report that some supporters wanted the Chair to step down. They actually wrote him and copied to me. No time was wasted on the matter as our main focus was to plan for the next round,” explained Dr Kumwenda.
While Chairperson for the Supporters Committee, Kenneth Dailo, disclosed that the issue was a house problem and that it had been resolved and there was nothing more he could say on the matter
