Azam Tigers football club has started with hardships in TNM Super league second round as they have just managed to collect only single point over the weekend out of possible six points.
Tigers on Sunday lost 2-1 to Mafco FC at Chitowe Stadium in Nkhotakota while previous day, got a point in a goalless draw match against Dwangwa United football club.
however, Tigers Mentor, Gerald Phiri, commended his men for the effort despite the defeat.
“It happens, is part of the game, we played very well but our friends had chances and they used them,” said Phiri.
Tigers are on eighth position on the standings with 26 points from 18 matches.
