With a current poor run of Be Forward Wanderers’ Executive Committee has asked its Eddingtone Ng’onamo-led technical panel to submit a report on the team’s poor showing in away TNM Super League matches.
Over the Nomads lost 1-2 to Mafco on Saturday and then drew with Dwangwa United, the following day at Chitowe Ground in Dwangwa.
According to the Nomads General Secretary, Mike Butao, said the team’s performance in away matches was disappointing and the executive wanted to appreciate the reasons behind the poor showing.
“As an executive committee, we are very unhappy with the team’s failure to collect points in away matches. No one in the Wanderers’ family likes what is happening. There is no way we can win the league title with such poor performances,” Butao explained.
He said it was sad that the team is now only depending on home matches to collect points.
Out of nine away matches played so far, Wanderers have won only twice while winning five out of 10 home matches.
The Ng’onamo-led panel is being taken to task for the first time since taking up their posts. Ng’onamo refused to comment yesterday.
