Football Association of Malawi (FAM) have ordered Silver Strikers football club to stop using in-form winger, Thuso Paipi.
Confirming this development ,Facility and transfer matching system manager, Casper Jangale, has said that six months loan transfer contract which Paipi signed at the Club has expired. Therefore he is supposed to return to his parent club, Premier Bet Wizards.
“It was a 6 months loan and the both clubs agreed that at the end of this period the player shall be required to return to Wizards,” said Jangale.
He added on that Paipi has a contract at Wizards which will last up to the year of 2018.
“Thuso is contracted to Wizards fc up to 30th June 2018 but was loaned to Silver Strikers only up to 30th September 2016,’ explained Jangale.
Meanwhile FAM have said they are doing everything possible for the Flames attacker to return to the Chilomoni based outfit.
‘What we are trying to process at this moment is that we are writing to Super league of Malawi about the matter and we will send the copy to Silver Strikers that the player should return to Wizards,” said Jangale.
Wizards technical director and the Owner, Peter Mponda, was the one who complained the matter to FAM.
However, Silver management have faulted FAM’S decision on matter.
Paipi is in good form is this season.
