Alliance Capital Stars have moved to a third position as they defeated stepped Gerald Tasaukadala in the Rainbow Paints Southern Region Netball League by 68 goals to 25 at Blantyre Youth Centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Alliance were in winning spirit from the start as first quarter ended favour of them to lead 20-6.
In second quarter, no more chances were left to Tasaukadala as Alliance continued in doing better until the opponent just gave in.
After the match,coach Mary Waya said she had expected her side to start well, and she was pleased with the performance from her girls.
“It was a very good match,” she said.
Alliance victory means they have displaced Thunder Queens on third position with 27 points from 13 games, while Thunder have 24 points from 10 games.
