Former Malawi national netball team coach Griffin Zagallo Saenda has died this morning at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre.
Saenda was rushed to the hospital on Thursday last week after collapsing at his home in Chimwankhunda Township in Blantyre.
Regarded as one of the best coaches on the continent, Saenda won numerous trophies both at club, national and international level.
Saenda, who also coached giants Kukoma Diamonds, has died at 68 years, having coached top clubs including First Choice Tigresses, formerly Admarc Tigresses.
