Confederation of African Football (CAF) has declared Malawi is among 12 countries that do not have stadiums fit enough to host World Cup qualifying matches from next month.
Malawi is slated to face Mozambique, Ivory Coast, and Cameron in the campaign for Qatar 2022.
The Kamuzu Stadium which was favored to host the home fixtures for Flames has not made a cut to the list that CAF has released.
Over the year, the magnificent Bingu National stadium has not been used for such high profile matches due to among other things, its pitch side condition and logistical hitches.
The other countries are Burkina Faso, Eritrea, Chad, Gambia, Lesotho, Burundi, Somalia, Namibia, Sierra Leone and the Central Africa Republic.
